Dr. Daniel J. Atkinson
Dr. Atkinson is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, and also received his undergraduate Baccalaureate degrees at The University of Oklahoma.
As a dentist who has been in practice for over 23 years, Dr. Atkinson holds himself and his staff to the same high standard that he would expect when he is the patient and not the dentist. “I would want my dentist to see me as an individual, to know me personally and not merely treat me as a chart number or ‘the next patient’. I would want my dentist to foster this relationship by knowing what is important to me and respecting me as a person. And I wouldn’t want to be taken for granted, even years into the relationship.”
“What I want as a dental patient is what I now offer you, because the result of this kind of treatment is my true goal; optimal dental health and appearance. It should look good, feel good, and last a long time. If you want this kind of care, I would be happy to be your dentist.”
Utilizing technology that benefits patient comfort and overall care is a commitment Dr. Atkinson takes seriously. “I have an active interest in constantly upgrading the quality of my practice. The state of the art of dentistry has changed very rapidly and we stay on top of what is very current in technologies that provide patient service and comfort.”
“I am blessed with a tremendous staff and that really is what makes the difference. We all insist on doing things the right things-the right way; that’s very important to me.”
With a special interest in Comprehensive, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Atkinson’s continuing education is a professional commitment.
Dr. Atkinson is a member of the American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry.
